Sustainability in action with our bee project at Nelen & Delbeke
We believe in the power of sustainability and the need to contribute to a healthy planet. In the spring, we launched a unique project in which we placed beehives on the roof of our company. In doing so, we not only want to underline the importance of the bee in our ecosystem, but also contribute locally to the preservation of biodiversity. Despite a difficult spring with a lot of rain, the harvest of our industrious bees was beautiful.
Bees play a crucial role in the pollination of plants, which is essential for a healthy environment and a sustainable future. This initiative fits perfectly with our company philosophy, in which sustainability is one of our most important pillars. By actively contributing to the protection of these valuable insects, we are setting a concrete example in practice of how we can contribute to a greener future locally. At Nelen & Delbeke, we strive for a balance between tradition, innovation and nature, and we are constantly looking for ways to apply sustainability in everything we do. This work has led to a nice honey harvest that our customers have been able to enjoy!
